Disana
German family business making 100% kbT merino wool and organic cotton babywear, knits and accessories since 1982.
kbT organic wool + GOTS organic cotton — entire range
Is Disana GOTS certified?
Disana states GOTS certification. I don't have a licence number on file for it, so I've recorded the claim without confirming the number.
- Covers
- GOTS certification covers the whole range, not a selected line.
- What that doesn't tell you
- Without a licence number I can't confirm the scope myself, so treat this as the brand's own statement.

Faye's take
Disana have been making in Baden-Württemberg since 1982 — kbT (German organic-livestock standard) merino wool with no chemical additives, and GOTS organic cotton. No synthetics anywhere, no nylon reinforcements, no elastane. Their boiled-wool walker suits are a cult classic for a reason. Disana sell mainly via specialist stockists rather than a public direct shop, so I link you out to find them.
How they started
Disana has been a family-run business since 1982, based in Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany, producing natural textiles for babies and children. Over more than 40 years it has continued as a family business focused on genuine craftsmanship and short distances in production.
