About Ovine & Faye
Ovine is a Chrome extension built to give people clear, honest answers about what's actually in the products they buy.
Its companion, Faye, reads the product page you're browsing, whether that's clothing, skincare or household goods, and tells you what it's really made of: the fibres, the chemicals, the certifications that matter. When a product contains synthetic materials or questionable ingredients, Faye points you toward cleaner natural or certified alternatives, grounded in published evidence, cited sources, and recognised certifications, not marketing claims.
Ovine was founded by Steve Partlett, working alongside his wife Stacey. After years of research into what's really in the products we all buy every day, they set out to build something that does the hard work for everyone else, so people can see, clearly and honestly, what's truly inside the things they choose.
