Frugi
British kids' and adult clothing in GOTS-certified organic cotton.
GOTS Organic — entire range
Is Frugi GOTS certified?
Frugi states GOTS certification. I don't have a licence number on file for it, so I've recorded the claim without confirming the number.
- Covers
- GOTS certification covers the whole range, not a selected line.
- What that doesn't tell you
- Without a licence number I can't confirm the scope myself, so treat this as the brand's own statement.

Faye's take
One of the UK's biggest GOTS-certified organic clothing brands — they've held the cert since the start, and it covers their whole kids' range. Cornish-designed, built for actual children rolling around in mud. A staple of our catalogue.
How they started
Frugi was founded in 2004 by marine biologists Lucy and Kurt, who needed clothes that fitted over their newborn son's reusable nappies. Finding no product that combined practicality, sustainability and design, they created their own childrenswear brand.
Where I read thisWhat they report
Frugi is a Certified B Corporation, and states it is the first UK-based childrenswear brand using GOTS certified organic cotton products to achieve B Corp certification, following independent assessment of its supply chain and business practices.
