Kite Clothing
British organic kids' and adults' clothing — GOTS-certified organic cotton range.
GOTS Organic — flagged items only
Is Kite Clothing GOTS certified?
Yes — Kite Clothing publishes GOTS licence GOTS-25565 (seen 2026-06-25). That's the brand's own published number; I haven't matched it to the public register myself.
- Licence
- GOTS-25565
- Covers
- GOTS certification covers the brand's certified range. Everything listed here sits inside it; the brand also sells items that don't.
- What that doesn't tell you
- That number covers what the certifier listed on it. It doesn't extend to items outside that scope.

Faye's take
Kite have a proper GOTS-certified organic cotton range, but they also stock items in bamboo viscose and other blends — so I flag the GOTS items rather than the whole brand. The kids' range in particular has lovely classic British prints (puffins, foxes) on certified organic cotton. Just check the label.
How they started
Kite Clothing was launched in 2007 by founder Jo, who started the brand with a first range carrying the tagline 'planet-friendly kit', putting sustainability at the heart of production from the very beginning.
