Faye's take
Plainandsimple are, honestly, the closest thing to a Tier 1 ideal for cotton basics. Their entire proposition — stated plainly across the site and on each PDP — is 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton, cotton stitching thread, cotton neck labels, and 0% plastic anywhere in the garment. That's the piece almost every other 'organic cotton' brand gets wrong: they'll use organic cotton fabric and then a polyester tag or polyester thread and quietly break the plastic-free claim. Plainandsimple don't. This is the brand to send someone who wants everyday tees, sweats and joggers without the elastane, without a synthetic tag scratching their neck, and without having to read a spec sheet. They previously had no underwear (the earlier rejection was scoped to that gap only), but for tops, sweats and joggers they're a near-total admit.
