WAWWA
Manchester-based brand — 95% sustainably sourced materials including GOTS organic cotton, produced in an above-living-wage UK factory.
GOTS Organic Cotton on flagged items — mixed material range
Is WAWWA GOTS certified?
WAWWA states GOTS certification. I don't have a licence number on file for it, so I've recorded the claim without confirming the number.
- Covers
- GOTS certification covers the brand's certified range. Everything listed here sits inside it; the brand also sells items that don't.
- What that doesn't tell you
- Without a licence number I can't confirm the scope myself, so treat this as the brand's own statement.

Faye's take
WAWWA are Manchester-based and manufacture in the UK at above-living-wage rates — the ethics story is unusually strong for a small brand. Materials are mixed across the range (GOTS organic cotton on some items, recycled synthetics on others), so I flag per garment rather than the whole brand. The organic cotton pieces are Tier 2 sportswear-appropriate; the recycled poly technical layers are not.
