The certificate that seemed to vanish
The GOTS register came back empty for Pigeon Organics. It took twenty minutes to find out why — and the answer clears them completely.

Last week we checked Pigeon Organics' GOTS certification — the same check Faye runs on every brand before she tells you anything.
The register came back empty. No records found.
That's usually where the story ends: a screenshot, a question mark, a good brand made to look shady by an admin quirk.
We didn't stop there, because Pigeon Organics deserved better than that. They're a genuinely careful, ethical children's clothing brand, and their organic credentials are real.
Why the search failed
Certificates are filed under the legal entity behind a brand, not the trading name on the label. The register never shows Pigeon Organics. It shows Organics for Kids Ltd — the company that actually holds the licence.
Twenty minutes tracing the trading name through Companies House got us there: GOTS-11383, held by Organics for Kids Ltd, real, current, and valid until 31 January 2027.
What that means
Nothing was hidden. Nobody lied. A genuinely good brand nearly got mistaken for a bad one, simply because nobody checked the right name. That's exactly the kind of brand this whole project exists to make visible.
This is the actual job Faye does on every scan.
Never assume the worst from an empty search. Never assume the best either. Just check properly, and say exactly what was found.
