HEARD IT THROUGH THE OVINE

We got tired of not trusting the label

No investors. No marketing department. Just a family with years of research behind them

27 July 2026

Hi, and thanks for being here.
We're a family. No investors, no corporate backing, no marketing department — just us, building something we wished existed.
It started with a simple frustration: you pick up something labelled "natural," "eco," "organic," and you have no real way of knowing whether any of it is true. The claims sound good. The certifications are half-explained. And most of us don't have the time to decode a licence number against a register.
So we built Faye — an assistant that does the checking for you. She reads what's really in your clothes, food and skincare, tells you what the claims actually mean, and — this is the important bit — checks certifications against the real registers rather than taking marketing at its word.
She won't tell you something is "kind and natural" because the packaging is green. She'll tell you what's proven, what's debated, and what a brand hasn't actually shown.
Over the coming weeks we'll share what she's finding, the brands we're looking into, and how you can spot greenwashing yourself. The Chrome extension is out now as early access — free to try, and you'd be among the first to use it while we build the full app.
Welcome. We're glad you found us.
